To further develop (turnkey) greenhouse project sales in Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Baltic countries & Scandinavian countries, focussing on distributors, key direct customers and new investors, we are currently looking for a Sales Manager Central Europe.
If you understand the language and needs of professional growers (of indoor vegetables, fruits, ornamentals, seedlings, hydroponics etc) and you are able to autonomously reach and discuss technical solutions (greenhouse construction, climate control, water management and energy recovery), this role is yours!
Stanowisko
Develop and establish project sales of professional greenhouses & equipment.
- Be the point of contact in the assigned region and develop project sales for the company’s Plastic and Glass Greenhouses & Equipment solutions.
- After a technical training period your main task is to promote and sell products from the Greenhouse and Equipment range while carrying out market research autonomously.
- Identify and target customers (investors, company directors and vegetable/plant growers)/distributors, build and develop a sales network, provide professional customer service.
- Organize you appointment schedule, visit the sites of prospective customers in the horticultural sector. Take part in professional trade exhibitions.
- Manage your projects autonomously; define customers’ requirements, gather the appropriate information and work alongside the group’s design office engineers to prepare the technical and business proposal. Identify your competitors’ strategies.
- Negotiate the financial and contractual aspects of the project with assistance from the Corporate Support teams.
- Once the contract is signed you set up the project and arrange for subcontracting of the work involved. You are the interface for the aftersales department.
- Stay constantly up to date with market developments and the latest trends.
- The Area Sales Manager CE closely cooperates with the HQ in France and reports to the Commercial Director Europe.
Profil
Commercial and client driven, with a good technical understanding of greenhouse equipment
Requirements
- Higher degree in Engineering / Horticulture and with excellent understanding of technical issues.
- Minimum 5 years in (inter)national sales of technical projects or project management.
- Experience with glasshouse construction & equipment and/or a wide network in the horti sector is a strong asset.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word) and experience with CRM systems.
- Driving License B, ready to travel intensively.
- Native Polish & business fluency level in English. Other languages are an asset.
