Stanowisko
Management and coordination of the Polish laying-hen breeding operations & sales of Lohmann.
- Be strategically responsible for the overall business development of Lohmann Poland with the aim of profitable growth and further expansion of the company’s market share.
- Develop and execute business strategies and objectives in alignment with the shareholders, and manage the core sales, farm production and hatchery team accordingly.
- Coordinate the sales and all production of the hatching eggs and day-old chicks (and reared pullets) of Lohmann layer breeds in Poland and further develop the farm network (contracted and own farms). Be in close contact with local hatcheries.
- Focus on the further development of the Polish layer distribution activities, managing farm operations and including Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A activities), in close cooperation with (and reporting to) the Managing Director of European Layer Distribution GmbH.
- Further enhance the positioning of the Lohmann brand through suitable marketing, PR and technical support strategies.
- Link with existing network in Poland and actively cooperate with sister distribution companies and Lohmann Breeders to maximize synergies.
- Regularly visit Key Accounts to establish sustainable relationships and foster customer satisfaction.
- P&L responsibility with preparation and presentation of budgets on an annual basis and ensure proper compliance with the budget and Group reporting requirements.
Profil
Poultry specialist offering extensive, proven operational expertise in the management and sales of egg-laying birds.
Requirements
- Higher education (Agricultural or agribusiness related) with 5+ years’ operational management experience in the poultry industry.
- Live bird management experience - preferably layers or broiler breeders. Deep understanding of the poultry business.
- Demonstrated track record in sales, marketing & technical service in agricultural settings.
- Fluent in Polish and English.
- Readiness to frequent national travelling (and sporadically also to neighbouring countries).
