Key Account Manager Poland (Swine Genetics)

Home Office based in Poland

We are looking for a proactive and modern sales professional who can independently drive business growth, build trusted relationships with key accounts, and communicate value to the market. The ideal candidate thinks strategically, approaches challenges with creativity and brings solid experience in sales within the livestock or agricultural sector. Ideally with exposure to modern pork production and matrix organizations. To further strengthen its presence and to develop strategic partnerships in Poland, PIC is looking for a Key Account Manager.

Stanowisko

Lead and drive the commercial development and strategic growth of PIC in the Polish market.

  • Develop and strengthen PIC’s position in Poland by building strategic, long-term partnerships with commercial and integrated pig producers. 
  • Drive sales growth and market expansion by identifying new business opportunities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact and the “face of PIC” in the Polish market, representing the company with a hands-on and proactive approach. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders and senior decision-makers. 
  • Work closely with customers to demonstrate the value of PIC products and solutions. 
  • Cooperate cross-functionally with internal teams including Genetic Services, Technical Services, Supply Chain, Health Assurance, and Commercial functions to ensure customer success. 
  • Manage budgets, sales forecasts, and commercial agreements to support sustainable business growth and profitability. 
  • Support the Commercial Director Northern Europe in executing strategic initiatives and achieving business objectives. 
  • The Key Account Manager reports directly to the Commercial Director Northern Europe.

Profil

A commercially driven and relationship-oriented sales professional with a strong understanding of the Polish swine industry.

Requirements:

  • Higher education degree, preferably in Agricultural Science, Animal Science, Zootechnics, or related fields. 
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a commercial or sales role within the agricultural or livestock sector. 
  • Practical knowledge of pig production and a strong understanding of the Polish swine industry is essential. 
  • Experience in swine genetics, animal nutrition, or related sectors is considered an advantage. 
  • Fluent Polish and English, both spoken and written. 
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Poland (approximately 50–60%) with occasional visits to the headquarters in Barcelona.

  • Excellent relationship-building and networking skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. 
  • Proactive, self-driven, and able to identify and develop strategic business opportunities independently. 
  • Strategic thinker with solid business acumen and customer focus. 
  • Hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable working in an international matrix organization. 
  • Motivated by building long-term customer partnerships and driving sustainable business growth.
