To lead and expand its commercial and distribution activities across Europe and to drive sales performance and developing strategic customer relationships across Europe and the Middle East, Aviagen Turkeys Ltd (ATL) is currently looking for a Commercial and Distribution Director. In this role you will be responsible for the parent stock sales to customers but also implementing and growing out the company’s distribution business.
Stanowisko
Lead the commercial and market development strategy for Aviagen Turkeys across Europe and emerging markets in the EMEA region.
- Lead and manage the commercial growth for Aviagen Turkeys Ltd (ATL) selling turkey parent breeding day old stock in Europe and surrounding countries, with a key focus on building and growing the distribution area of ATL’s business.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with global company objectives.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities with key customers and strategic distribution partners. Handover completed projects to the Managing Director to manage the day-to-day distribution business.
- Negotiate commercial agreements with key accounts and manage yearly contracts and pricing frameworks agreements.
- Make customer visits in the region to maintain and develop strong customer ties.
- Deliver consistent sales forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue performance reporting.
- Address and solve sales issues associated with ATL products.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, customer events, and seminars to promote the ATL products.
- Work closely with the R&D Director and Technical Service Team to align the company’s sales and technical policies in the region, and to ensure the delivery of best-in-class customer service.
- The Commercial and Distribution Director works closely with leadership to define and execute European growth and distribution initiatives, and reports to the Managing Director.
Profil
A sales driven poultry sector specialist with strong strategic skills and readiness for frequent travelling.
Job requirements
- Higher degree, preferably in agribusiness.
- At least 3 years of experience in sales and marketing in the poultry industry in the European region. Experience building distribution networks or channel partnerships is a strong asset.
- Fluency in English, knowledge of other European languages is an asset.
- Prepared for frequent national and international travelling (including regular visits within the EU and HQ in Chester, UK).
