To strengthen the sales department, we are currently looking for a Technical Sales Advisor Poland, who in close cooperation with the HQ of the company will develop and establish the sales towards the Polish arable sector.
Stanowisko
Represent the company in Poland in terms of sales and product advice towards distributors and farmers.
Develop and propose the sales and development strategies execute in alignment with the line manager, prepare an annual sales and marketing budget and be responsible for sales volumes and margin targets through high quality distribution channels.
- Build a distribution network (whole Poland), initiate and establish local distributor agreements and work closely with selected distributors to develop the market together.
- Monitor the market and competitors, identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators to acquire new customers.
- Develop, maintain, update and actively utilize a network of technical contacts to promote the technical benefits of the products as to develop sales.
- Provide technical support to the sales staff of the distributors and to leading farms (technical presentations, training and seminars, visits in the field).
- With support of the dedicated agronomy team for the region, manage a program of products field trials to promote the benefits/value proposition of the product portfolio.
- Work closely with growers and establish agronomically well-balanced crop nutrition programs based on Tessenderlo solutions, with specific focus on crops like cereals, corn, oil seed rape & potato, etc.
- The Technical Sales Advisor Poland reports to the Sales and Marketing Director Europe.
Profil
Sales-focused specialist in arable crop production and nutrition
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy or Agribusiness, Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years commercial experience in agricultural B2B sector (fertilizers / crop nutrition is an asset).
- Comprehensive knowledge of agricultural practice (specific expertise in fertilizers management is a plus).
- Valid driver’s license, willingness to travel regularly (up to 60% of working time locally).
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and social media channels.
- Language: native Polish and communicative English.

- Customer and market-focused, able to propose solutions and to think creative into new ways of working.
- Eager to develop new business together with the selected agri-distributors and leading farmers.
- Entrepreneurial approach, hands-on, pro-active and flexible, methodical and result orientated.
- Able to work in and contribute to a multicultural team, at the same time able to work autonomously and self-propelled.
